De-Tan

De Tan refers to a process of reducing or removing tanning caused by exposure to the sun. Tanning occurs when the skin is exposed to the sun's UV rays, causing an increase in the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color. This can result in the skin becoming darker or unevenly pigmented.

De Tan procedures typically involve the use of skin lightening agents or exfoliating products that help to remove the darkened layers of skin. Some of the commonly used ingredients in de-tan products include alpha-hydroxy acids, kojic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, and Vitamin C.
